Lucas Meyer Cosmetics says its Capixyl hair fertilizer provides multi-targeted action on hair's growth cycle, and preserves hair follicle stem cell activity for better regeneration.  In an 11-day study, hair follicle growth showed an 87% improvement vs. untreated areas. Furthermore, scalp areas treated with 5% Capixyl v. a placebo showed a 79% increase in the number of hair per square centimeter after four months. In an eyelash study, lashes treated with a 2.5% formula of Capixyl showed a 46% increase in new lashes after four weeks.
